From Salad Plates to Spring Vibes: Ivie Page Living's Versatile New Tablescapes

Cameron Jones, one of Ivie Page Living's featured designers, shares her inspiration for three wonderful new tableware collections.
New Collections: Jazz, Steeplechase, Hemingway Hunt

I so enjoyed having the opportunity to bring together these latest combinations for Ivie Page Living. What I love most about our chosen patterns is their ability to morph with changing seasons, styles, and colors. These latest collections highlight just how very versatile the pieces are.

Queen's Imari Salad Plate Layered With Oberon Dinner PlateFirst, there is the Jazz Collection. Like instruments that layer to make jazz music, this tablescape is all about the layering of color and pattern. The Queen's Imari salad plate is the show's real star, and I love how the colors from the Oberon dinner plate perfectly accompany it. I wanted the linens to feel intentional but also a little unexpected, so we used burnt orange as the common thread, allowing us to introduce that lovely shade of blue that plays so nicely with the oranges and browns. Just like in decorating rooms, using wood tones in the tortoise chargers brings richness and warmth to the table. The flowers, combined with the hypericum berries and the lovely tangerine tulips, are the perfect bridge between the winter and spring seasons.

You can see the versatility of these settings perfectly exemplified here when we swapped out only a salad plate (the lovely Oberon salad plate) for a whole new vibe.

Hemingway Hunt Place Setting Featuring Spode Woodland Pheasant Salad PlateThe Hemingway Hunt Collection is another example of how you can utilize this same place setting with a new twist. Flatware, glasses, and linens are all the same, but we bring in the handsome Woodland salad plate and the rich green of the Fitz and Floyd dinner plate. This is such a handsome look that can transcend seasons.

Steeplechase Collection - Curated Table DesignsSwitching gears and leaning fully into spring, the Steeplechase Collection embraces bright colors and floral patterns. Knowing we were heading into spring made me want to embrace the bright, happy hues of the season. It's hard to pick a favorite aspect, but the Boston Green glassware is up there for me.

The centerpiece flowers mimic the lovely colors from the linens and the Wedgewood Chinese Flowers dinner plate down to the light pink vessel they are sitting in. The little pom poms on the napkins add a touch of whimsy to the tablescape. This setting is absolutely perfect for brunches and luncheons and would bring a smile to any guest's face!

Steeplechase Place Setting with Cabbage Green BowlSpeaking to this one's versatility, look how easy a little change out is: here we added a Bordallo Pinheiro Cabbage Green Dinner Plate and dessert bowl and alternated the glassware with the beautiful Fitz & Floyd pink Trestle glasses.

It's time to mark your calendar for the perfect occasion to show off your Ivie Page Living Style!
