This sweet and simple puff pastry dessert will accommodate any fruit. Use what’s in season!
Ingredients:
- 2-3 tbsp. honey
- 2 cups fresh strawberries
- 2 sheets puff pastry dough, thawed
- ½ cup strawberry preserves
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper; drizzle with honey. Arrange strawberries over the honey. Unfold puff pastry sheets; spread with strawberry jam. Lay pastry sheets, jam side down, over strawberries. Press the seam together in the middle to seal. Crimp edge with a fork. Score the pastry to allow steam to escape. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and bubbly. Cool for 5-10 minutes, then invert onto a parchment-covered cutting board. Slice and serve with fresh whipped cream.
