Meet Designer Cameron Jones

We love working with Cameron. Her beautiful table settings include vintage plates, mixing and matching patterns, and plenty of pops of color.
Cameron Jones, Featured Designer for Ivie Page Living

Cameron's tablescape designs are approachable, warm, and inviting as she marries old and new to create memories for any event. This also mirrors how she designs spaces in her client's homes - her intention is to design spaces that are meaningful, purposeful, beautiful, and unique to each client.

Cameron works with projects big and small and with varied budgets and styles. She loves starting with pieces that clients already have (especially the sentimental ones!) and then building a design plan in collaboration with her clients from there. Cameron is fearless in mixing styles, periods, patterns, and colors. A favorite challenge is mixing vintage patterns with modern pieces to show off beautiful food. She has a talent for—and gets a kick out of - experimenting with layouts and mixing patterns and colors. We 100% agree after seeing the beautiful tablescapes created for Ivie Page Living.

We asked Cameron for a memorable family recipe - her two favorites are super simple, and she happily shared them. Her grandmother's Beef Tenderloin is the main event on Christmas night, and her mother's cheese ball recipe is a treat Cameron makes for family and friends during the holiday season.

    Grandmother’s Filet of Beef

    Ingredients:

    • Filet of beef, 5 to 6 pounds
    • ¾ stick of unsalted butter, softened
    • Garlic salt
    • Crushed black pepper

    Instructions:

    1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
    2. Bring meat to room temperature and pat dry with a paper towel.  Place in a greased or aluminum foil-lined pan.  Spread butter on top and sides of the meat, sprinkle with garlic salt, and pepper, and rub all of it into the meat.
    3. Cook filet for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 degrees and cook for an additional 30 minutes.  The meat will be medium rare.
    4. Slice and serve as an entrée or cool completely and serve as an hors d’oeuvre served with rye bread and mayonnaise or horseradish sauce on the side.
    Mom’s Greatest Cheeseball

    Ingredients:

    • 2 large and one small bricks of cream cheese
    • 1 small jar of Old English cheese spread
    • ½ small container of Roquefort cheese, crumbled
    • 1 stick of butter
    • Dash of Garlic salt
    • 4 ounces of pecans

    Instructions:

    1. Put all ingredients except for the pecans in a large bowl and let soften to room temperature (will take 1-2 hours).  Smash all ingredients together with clean hands. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
    2. Form the mixture into one large ball or two small balls.  Blend or crush pecans and roll the balls into the nuts to cover the outside.  Serve with crackers.
    3. This also freezes beautifully - wrap your cheese ball in plastic and then foil for an airtight seal.
